It has been almost two years since my husband and I purchased our Swiss Dream Bed and we often say to each other, “This will forever be one of the best purchases we’ve ever made!” I had been doing extensive research as I was looking to replace our old, standard bed system with something that was non-toxic, high quality, and would improve our sleep. It took us both about a month to get used to our new bed and mattress (don’t panic, give it some time), and we had to experiment a bit with finding the right pillows once our bodies adjusted. After getting through the adjustment period, we were amazed at the many improvements we noticed! Before purchasing the Swiss Dream Bed, my husband was dealing with chronic lower back pain from a physically demanding job and I was dealing with restless leg syndrome almost every night. I was also a light sleeper and would wake often throughout the night, especially if my husband was moving around a lot. Within a very short time sleeping on our Swiss Dream Bed, my husband’s lower back pain disappeared completely and I no longer experienced restless leg syndrome! Almost two years later and these issues are still nonexistent. I also sleep soundly and am no longer waking up when my husband is moving around on his side of the bed or getting in/out of bed.
As stated, I was searching for a sleeping system that was non-toxic and this was my initial motivation for purchasing the Swiss Dream Bed. It is a huge relief to know that we are sleeping on quality materials and not inundating our bodies with toxins while it tries to rest and recover.
Also, the bed is beautiful, and my only regret is that we did not order the bed with a headboard. I love the look and color of the wood and feel the headboard would have added to the aesthetic of our bedroom.
Sleeping away from our Swiss Dream Bed is quite a challenge these days and we are always commenting on how much better our bodies will feel once we get back home to our cherished bed. We really love it that much and can notice a difference in sleep quality and aches/pains when we are away. My husband used to be the kind of person who would/could sleep anywhere, but not anymore!
My experiences with Hendrik have been nothing short of wonderful and helpful. He even helped us through the trial and error of finding the right pillows. One of my favorite things about having purchased the Swiss Dream Bed is knowing that we spent our money on a product that was made with pride by a wonderful family that cares about their product.
I cannot say enough good about the Swiss Dream Bed and our entire experience so far. Our quality of sleep and overall health has changed for the better. Don’t overlook the impact proper sleep has on your health and general quality of life! I have peace of mind knowing we are sleeping on high quality materials and love that we supported an amazing business. (I should also add – we are in the US and therefore had our bed shipped to us. The process was simple and although I feared huge shipping expenses, they were very reasonable. My husband and I worked together to assemble the bed which was overall smooth and straightforward using Hendrik’s instructional video.)
